Its a crazy place out there!
Ok, I was watching Nancy Grace last night and they were talking about a new story...some preacher guy had been arrested at church the other day for the murder of his wife...apparently he told police that she had died giving childbirth that was 4 years ago...well some family member found her body in a freezer locker in the laundry room of his house...she had been in there for 4 WHOLE YEARS...while they (him and the small kids) lived in the house!!! My question is how did they not suspect anything when she apparently "died during childbirth" where was the body then??? And he's reported to be charged with rape of a girl from their church, child molestation among some other things as well...Very strange! Seriously it was very shocking to hear!!! What is this world coming to??
On that note as well, I have been reading the book Night by Elie Wiessel, a holocaust survivor...(VERY GOOD BOOK...VERY SAD THOUGH), and it really brings to thought how someone can question the heart of God, and why in such times of brutality and suffering it seems He is absent? You will have to read the book, because it is too graphic to really give examples...but I found myself saying, you know if I had been in that mess...would I still question God's deliverance, but then again, it just shows how much I am not in control and have no clue what His big piture is...I almost found myself mad at God while reading the personal accounts...How could he let them hang a child and leave him there to die for hours....then I think of the cross...and His child and realize...God was there for all of it...right beside them and his Son, I'm not sure why he did not stop the Mass Killings that day, but I think back to the Cross and realize...Jesus knew what he had to look forward to....and personally I think I'd endure all that if it got me to eternity with Christ!! Its ok to cry and lament...Jesus did to his father, besides we have to die to get to heaven anyway!! I just thank the LORD that I am blessed with the life I have!!

a)stupid murderers irritate me, but it helps the authorities make a case against them. My father always says, "the prisons aren't full of the nation's brightest". Amen.
b)yeah -- all that you said. Just so much. Like 'Hotel Rwanda' (that I haven't seen) I don't know if I could face that book...
