Rewards
In all my 25 years of life...I have never gotten a massage. Everyone in my family always says that I'm the pro at massages...needless to say when someone needs their shoulders rubbed or their knots relieved...they beg me to get to work. They've all been to get massages at places but I always turn down the offers. I'm not really sure, either I don't want someone rubbing their hands on me, and the fact that I'm super ticklish...but with my new goal this month I'm super super sore and knots all over my shoulders...(see goal below).
I've set a goal for myself to wake up in the morning and run at least 2 miles before work for the next month an a half. Working out is my 2nd nature but mornings...NOT SO MUCH! Now, I used to run a ton in college...a little obsessed at running then actually, but now I'm burnt out on it and tend to get bored super fast. However, I have been doing extremely well on this goal...except for the fact that I complete my runs at around 5:30pm and then get in a 30-35 minute strength training/interval workout in as well...I'm sooo sore....probably because I'm not going to bootcamp this month and I've slacked off...but what is it with me...no matter how early I hit the hay...I still cant seems to drag myself out of bed...even with my shoes and socks ready to go, and clothes ready to jump in. Maybe I should post a picture on my alarm clock of my before and what I could look like after?? Rewards people...its all in the rewards!
Any motivations for getting up in the morning?? I know I've tried the alarm clock across the room...but seldom works, maybe in the other room??:) haha seriously though, I gotta get the morning workouts in so that I can improve my metabolism!
That being said...you should all still check out my trainer's blog at absexpert.com he's pretty good at what he does and has some great workouts he posts!
