Most of you know I'm trying to train for a 1/2 marathon (13 miles). My first one actually, not sure why I never did it before seeing as in college I ran about 7 miles every other day( for a few years I was obsessed)...but guess I got burnt out. Anyway, shortly after I moved to Dallas I decided it was time for one. I got a job, bought an apartment, and moved in the same week...super fast change in life...took a little adjusting and extremely stressful, So I thought...hmm running a marathon why not, I had tons of time after work, and it was the top thing to do on my "Accomplish Before 25" List... along with traveling to every continent but somehow I dont think thats feasible by September!:) I've been running, sprinting, agility training and conditioning for a few months now, hit a plateu...but I found out from some friends about this All Girl Boot Camp SCFitness by Scott Colby ...3 days a week for about 5 weeks...i've done some of his techniques Bodyweight 500, very simple concept VERY EFFECTIVE workout...well I'll keep you updated and hopefully I'll decide on a race to run very soon so you'll all have to come out and cheer me on:)---Next a half Triathlon!...Get Excited!
