Refreshed
I am feeling great lately...a little tired but that's expected (what with the rainy days and all)
I've been proud of myself...I am starting to meet my goal of 2 mile runs each weekday morning. Mind you, I have to set a second alarm clock in my bathroom so that I have to get out of bed, turn on the bathroom light and find the alarm clock...(I am NOT a morning person). I really like doing this...1) it makes me feel alive and ready to start my day, 2) I get to be alone and re-focus. I run with my ipod, but most of the time I'll take it off and just listen, listen to God, talk to God, and really just meditate on my day!
Seriously, if you don't have a morning routine/workout/quiet time before your day actually starts...DO IT NOW! You will be better for it. Because it really does get you started on the right foot...
All that being said, it is National Day of Prayer day today. Hopefully that's not the only reason you pray today...
Prayer Requests:
1) Church family friend Brian underwent brain scan/surgery/laser treatment for a brain tumor. Please please keep him and his family in your prayers!
2) LS and DT in their upcoming marriage. Please pray that all travel will go well, and that family relationships will be strong.
3) My BSF group girls. That they would all have amazing weeks at work, their relationships in life and in our group would be enriched and that they can all be examples and leaders like Moses who we've been studying.
4) My decisions in life such as work, PHR certification, MBA plans, and just generally hearing God, listening to him and waiting/or moving when/where he wants me so that I can fulfill my purpose= which is to GLORIFY him no matter what!
5) Mother's everywhere that they would enjoy Sunday and that they will realize God loves them and no matter how hard mothering gets, He Will Provide!
Tell me what you would like me to pray for and I would love to anonymously put you on my Thursday weekly prayer list...or let me know how God is working in your life!!
