Things...

Hope you all have had a great week! Things have been crazy and busy and everything else in my little world lately. Memorial day weekend was a lot of fun. It was very nice to get away and spend time with friends. We went to the river and floated and camped out. I got back at about midnight on Sunday. I talked to my mom on Monday afternoon and she told me she had to put my baby girl Lilly to sleep (dog i've had for 12+ years). She had cancer and had gotten really bad last weekend. Couldnt walk or anything and so her and my dad had to carry her to the vets office. Mom said she was ready because she slowly closed her eyes and then they gave her the medicine! You dont even know how sad I've been over this. I know she is not suffering, but at the same time, she feels like a member of the family! She was one of the BEST dogs we've ever had.

I would like to think that God has a special place for these creatures in heaven. I know heaven will be more than we can even imagine, and will be so much more fun than anything down here...but I'd like to know that since he knows every bird, every fish in the sea, and created us all...that He is up there playing with her now and scratching her back and kissing her on the head...she loved that!!

Well on a happier note...I'm headed to Ft. Worth to see the Spazmatics play...if you've never heard them or seen them perform...you have to come down and go to a show. THey are AMAZING...80's cover band...they rock!!
