Looking for God's lamp.

Its been a while and I'm sorry, but I've been super busy.

A lot of things have happened and are happening...mostly to do with work right now and could use a lot of prayers.

My prayer as of the last month has been that I would hear God speaking to me and know what his plan is currently in my life...sticking by his side while he holds the flashlight kind of prayers...and a verse I've been putting on my heart as well as a huge decorative sign over my bed..."Be still and KNOW that I am GOD!" Psalm 46:10

I've gone to him to get through each day one at a time, and not get anxious and let my worries take over...I have to tell you how much I've seen Him, heard Him each day over the past few weeks, and how He's been answering my call even in small ways!

Here are the daily verses in the flip calendar I read each day at work...coincidence???

"So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that yo have received it, and it will be yours"- Mark 11:24

"Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31

"The joy of the Lord is your strength." Nehemiah 8:10

"Be Still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the Earth."- Psalm 46:10

"God's Peace...is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus."- Phil 4:7

"Pray without ceasing." 1 Thes 5:17

"Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. Remember, O Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old."- Psalm 25:4-6

And the one that Hit me over the head when I needed it most today:
"Your heavenly Father knows your needs. He will always give you all you need from day to day."- Luke 12:30-31

So I know it's just a desk calendar but, apparently God knew what time of the year and specific days I needed to Hear his specific words....My heart leaps with joy when reading these words...even if I'm struggling on the outside!!
