God's will has more to do with what you're becoming....

This country needs to wake up and realize the sanctity of marriage and true love....A few things lately have gotten me onto this topic...But both the election and all sorts of things going on lately just scream that God is soooo lost in America, mostly lost in our idea of love, relationships, sex and marriage....

I gotta say, I'm all for the Jonas brother's and Jordin SParks standing up in Hollywood for what they believe in and not letting themselves go...more importantly, not afraid to say or show it!


I just wish these young ladies (and men) would realize that God's not going to give you what you want till you realize what you need...

"its not so mysterious, it(the will of God) is so clear to us...the scriptures have so much more to do with who you're becoming and far less to do with who you marry and what job you have, and where you live....when He is revealed we know we will be like him-when you know the Goal of life is that you are going to be like Christ, then you put your attention on that, on you becoming purified, on you becoming like Christ."

Let me know what you think...or if you have any other ideas about Gods will for our life...its something thats hard for all of us to grasp, and when we question what we're here for...I go back to these verses.
