Truely Someone that Claims Second...

So, something that has been on my heart lately is missions. I know that there is something I was made for, sure my job is great, I have the best friends, and family, however there is always something more I long for. I want to be able to take off for a week or two or a year and just hang out loving and teaching Gods children! How much more fulfilling can you get than that.

Also, I've really been reflecting on a verse that was part of our Sermon Series in Temple. It was based on Esther and her journey. God puts special people in special places...one recent story that came to mind was Tim Tebow and his amazing life story. If you arent a big sports fans like myself, let me take the time to introduce you....He's one of the best football players (QB's) in the country. Not only because of his amazing talent with the sport but I truely believe God put him in his position to serve a bigger purpose than winning the Heisman or carrying his team on his back to the Championships...they sometimes refer to him as Superman...yeah you may have heard of him.

Long story short...his parents are Christian missionaries in the Phillipines, he was born there and spends most of his time there doing missions. He speaks all over at prisons and places telling his story and professing Christ.

You take the countries most known athlete in one of the biggest sports in the country....now tell me that isnt the perfect stage for a messenger!

His faith, character and charisma truely inspires me!

God puts his people in great places....I only hope I know what and where I'm placed for...I'm praying I will be able to go on some missions this summer...until then I'll do my missions here...
