He's HERE!!! I'm an Aunt!!
Baby Drake is here, a whole month early. He was born on 1/23/2009 at 8:32pm. He weighs a little over 4lbs and is a little over 19inches long.
He is currently in NICU 3 in Houston. His lungs are underdeveloped and they had to intibate him on Saturday in order to help his little body stop struggling to breath. Natalie (mom) had very high blood pressue so this is why they had to induce her so early. She has had some complications and is currently in the Cardiovascular Center Hospital awaiting tests so that they can find out the source of the problem. My brother is a very strong person and has been back and forth from hospital room to hospital room, checking/loving on mom and baby day and night. Please pray for him as well as Natalie and baby Drake. Matt has to handle some things at work this week as well and I know it is a SUPER stressful, tiring time for him. I think he's gotten all of about 6 horus sleep in the last 4 days!
Also please keep Natalie's sister Candice in your prayers....she was induced this morning with HER baby (yes both sisters were pregnant at the same time).
My step-mom is helping out for the week and I know she could use your prayers as well...
I will put pictures up of baby Drake as soon as possible. He is so precious, and I miss him already!!

Thanks for the update. The pictures are precious. You will be one great aunt. Baby Drake is a blessed little man.
I meant the pictures on your facebook. The ones with the tubes look a little scary, but you can still see how sweet he & the dad look.
Okay, I do blogs a week at a time! Yours looks AWESOME. Okay, and you know Michelle, and she and I can't figure out how we know each other. Weird.
Anyway -- Congratulations! AND, I concur, the fb pics look just precious. I'll be praying for one and all!
